Mac II vi aka Quadra 650
Code names: Brazil, Lego - This Macintosh IIvi is something special! The original processor is replaced with an Quadra 650 18MHz what brings it to a total of 35 MHz and gives a plus of 10 % in performance (and it makes it to a LowEndMac best buy !).
A second HD is installed, replacing the build in CD drive. Total Space on the two drives ca 400 MB.
But is gets better: Inside you find an original Apple PC Card (BCGM3581 - 820-0658-C) including a real 486 processor. One of the drives in the Mac is fromated for PC and a WINDOWS v6-d is running additional to a Mac OS 7.6-d - realtime - you can switch between the Mac and the PC by the keystroke "Apple + Return". |
